PROJECT OVERVIEW

UW-Madison’s Center for Healthy Minds is a leader in understanding the mind and emotions and working to facilitate mental well-being. For this project, we completed a full interior demolition and remodel of what was formerly the Kennedy Dairy building, constructed in the early 1900s for the city’s largest dairy. Throughout the project, we were very careful to protect the original character of the building while incorporating the modern requirements of an office and educational space. We revitalized the historic charm of this unique building, highlighting it as opposed to hiding it through our design choices. All in all, the final product — a tranquil space alight with character — provides the perfect backdrop for the CHM team to complete their work.
