David aka “T-bone”, first became interested in construction after helping his uncle with building projects. Now, as a Superintendent at Ideal, David’s primary responsibility is supporting other trades — organizing, advising, and problem solving to ensure quality project completion. He describes Ideal’s culture as “hip, straightforward, and fulfilling.” And as for his nickname, T-bone? Well, prior to joining the construction industry, David worked as a restaurant chef… along with three other “Davids.” When asked his preferred nickname, David — mishearing the question and having just cooked a porterhouse — replied “T-bone up!” The name stuck. When he’s not at work (or cooking up more porterhouses), David enjoys fishing, shooting, and relaxing with friends and family. On his bucket list? Seeing the pyramids of Giza up close.
