Marketing Manager

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to help execute Ideal Builders’ marketing and growth strategies to build strong client, community, and industry relationships to achieve the organization’s goals.

Essential job duties
Ensure effective RFP and proposal management to win project work:
- Manage, develop and assist the proposal process from kick-off to interview, including creating proposals, presentations, securing materials, and being a part of Ideal Builders’ team in their roles to win work for the company
- Coordinate interview preparation and assist Ideal Builders’ team members to successfully secure projects through the interview process
- Stay current on presentation methods, trends, and technology
- Ensure the development and execution of proposals meet Ideal Builders’ quality standards
- Continuously update essential proposal components to ensure alignment with Ideal Builders’ evolving brand
- Research and secure opportunities for Ideal Builders’ team members to share their expertise with target audiences
Create and maintain results-focused branding and marketing efforts that support customer growth and retention:
- Maintain and manage web-related presence, such as website, social media
- Create and maintain advertisements and printed collateral such as brochures, etc
- Develop, implement, and maintain marketing plans for all branding, design, and marketing campaigns to increase revenue in key markets
- Maintain existing annual marketing budget
- Ensure marketing strategies, branding, and marketing materials (digital and physical assets) accurately align and reflect the company’s values
- Monitor and manage the brand of Ideal Builders as needed to maintain premium builder status, which accurately reflects Ideal Builders’ professional capabilities
- Coordinate and direct the scope of work with specialized consultants such as marketing consultants, freelancers, photographers, and media relations to ensure the highest quality of results are being delivered
- Manage and maintain Ideal Builders’ brand image in all social spaces
- Work with project teams and clients to plan and implement community events which celebrate key milestones of construction projects including groundbreaking, topping out and ribbon-cutting ceremonies, signage etc
- Plan and help execute Ideal Builders’ staff attendance at community events, charity events, and trade events including targeted networking assignments
- Conduct client, brand, and market research in support of business development activities that increase revenue in key markets for new marketing verticals
- Research and secure opportunities for Ideal Builders’ teams to participate and present to potential clients at industry events and conferences
- Maintain favorable working relationships with the media and social communities
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the media and ensure that all company promotional activities receive maximum exposure and consistent messaging
Contribute to the company’s growth efforts to secure work by:
- Direct prospecting activities, including but not limited to, developing and distributing prospecting reports, tracking prospects, and following up on prospecting activities
- Direct client and competitive alerts are established and active
- Review alerts to ensure quality data is collected; make recommendations for change when necessary
- Assist with Ideal Builders’ CRM system
- Participate in direct contact with clients and prospects
- Use applicable AI resources and future AI initiatives

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary work

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience required
- Progressive marketing experience is required
- Previous experience developing and implementing brand and marketing plans is required
- Previous experience in CRM management is preferred
- Previous experience with public relations is preferred
- Previous experience in business development strategy and execution is preferred
- Previous experience working for a general contractor is preferred
- Previous experience in RFP management is preferred
