Wisconsin Dells, Wis. – City officials, project partners, and community members gathered today to break ground on the new Wisconsin Dells Public Works facility, a state-of-the-art space designed to support the city’s growing infrastructure needs and day-to-day operations.

The approximately 70,000-square-foot facility will house a wide range of services and operational spaces including office areas, meeting rooms, locker rooms, storage areas, a fleet parking garage, vehicle maintenance and wash bays, workshops, and more. A new salt and sand storage building is also included as part of the project.

The building will serve as a centralized hub for public works staff and equipment, improving operational efficiency and providing long-term value for the community. Mezzanines throughout the facility will house mechanical systems and additional storage to serve multiple city departments.

The facility is being developed through a collaborative effort between the City of Wisconsin Dells and a dedicated project team that includes Owner’s Representative Eric and Lee Associates, architectural consultant Architectural Design Consultants, Inc., and general contractor Ideal Builders.

Construction is now underway and is expected to be completed Summer 2026.
