Dave Martin's journey from childhood carpentry dreams to a 20+ year career in construction is inspiring. At Ideal Builders, he excels at planning and problem-solving, fostering a youthful and friendly office culture. When not leading his teams, Dave is a devoted father of five, enjoying everything from soccer to boating, and always tinkering on home projects.

As a child, Dave dreamed of becoming a carpenter. Now, 20+ years into his career in the construction industry, his dreams have certainly come true. At Ideal Builders, Dave focuses on planning and problem-solving with members of his office and field teams. Laughter is a common occurrence and indicative of Ideal’s culture, which Dave describes as “youthful” and “friendly.” (Coincidentally, these are words the Ideal staff would use to describe Dave himself.) When he’s not at work, Dave is busy keeping up with his wife and their five energetic children. If he’s not kicking a soccer ball, drawing, playing with his dog (Hobbes), or boating, Dave is likely tinkering on a project at home while listening to blues guitar.
