Woody Kopplin

Meet Woody Kopplin, Ideal's Director of Field Operations. With over 20 years in construction, Woody sought a hands-on challenge, a path he found at Ideal. He now supports field and office staff, fostering growth and success. Woody praises Ideal's trustworthy and collaborative culture. Off-duty, he enjoys family, Jeep rides, home projects, and leading his church's teen group.

Woody has been “Woody” for 20-some odd years, earning the nickname at a previous employer on account of there being two “Kevins.” Woody got into construction because he was looking for a challenge and wanted to work with his hands… plus, he wanted to avoid college at all costs. As Ideal’s Director of Field Operations, Woody plays a supporting role for field and office staff, making sure his team has what they need to succeed and coaching them to reach their full potential. Woody describes Ideal’s culture as “trustworthy, collaborative, and awesome.” Outside of work, Woody likes to spend time with his family (who he hopes to soon bring to Disney World), and ride around in his Jeep. Woody also enjoys home improvement projects (like any former woodworker might) and leads a teen group at his family’s church.
