One Community Bank (OCB) is a long-term partner of the Ideal Builders’ team. We’ve collaborated on the construction of this location in Waunakee and several other locations in the greater Madison area. True to its name, OCB locates its banks in the heart of communities and aims to create open spaces that encourage interaction. Locations also often include “flex space” for small classes, lectures, and entertainment space available to the public. In addition, this ground-up building features natural materials, including wood and metals, and floor-to-ceiling glass exterior walls to showcase views of the surrounding area and natural light.
We are so proud of our new bank facility. It’s functional and beautiful with wonderful design elements that create an immediate positive environment for our clients and colleagues. We revealed hidden architectural gems like brick arches and steel beams, repurposing an old bank vault into a stunning lounge and bar. Accordion windows blur indoor and outdoor space, complemented by reclaimed materials and a pewter bar top. This renovation earned multiple accolades.
