Tim Cleary

Tim’s favorite aspect of his job (and the reason he got into construction): “Creating something that will last… it’s extremely rewarding.” As Executive Vice President at Ideal, Tim or “TC” (an old baseball nickname) spends his days working on a “little bit of everything,” including new projects, client and employee relationships, and corporate leadership. Ultimately, Tim strives to make Ideal Builders — whose culture he describes as “fun, caring, and resourceful” — the best organization it can be. Outside of work, Tim loves spending time with his wife and four sons and traveling (on his bucket list: golfing in Ireland). An active member of the Madison community, he also coaches youth sports and serves as the Advisory Board Chair for the Carbone Cancer Center, as well as on the board for Smart Growth of Greater Madison.
