Government Building Renovation & Addition | Waunakee, WI

PROJECT OVERVIEW

When we were brought the opportunity to renovate the Waunakee Fire Department’s existing building and create an expansive addition, we jumped at the chance to serve the hardworking men and women who would use it. The Waunakee Fire Department — which was organized in 1895 by the Waunakee Village Board — maintains between 22 and 44 members, all of whom are volunteers and serve not only Waunakee, but also the surrounding communities. During this project, we raised the roof of the structure to allow additional light into the building’s interior. The result? A space that’s as beautiful as it is functional.
