We brought the whole Ideal Builders team together this week for our summer safety meeting — with a focus on creating safe, comfortable work environments.

This safety meeting was all about heat stress awareness—a timely and important reminder as summer ramps up. And because balance matters, we made time to share some BBQ and good company, too.

A few key takeaways to avoid heat stress:
• Ease into working in the heat
• Stay hydrated (don’t wait until you’re thirsty)
• Go easy on the caffeine
• Take breaks in the shade

And, most importantly: Safety isn’t just about policies—it’s about planning ahead, speaking up, and making sure everyone gets home safe.

🌟 Future Leaders Join the Fight Against Blood Cancer 🌟

The Ideal Builders Community Impact Committee recently welcomed two Madison West High School students and LLS’s Carrie Lory as part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Student Visionaries of the Year program.

These students are not only developing professional skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management—they are also raising awareness about critical statistics:

• Every 3 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma.
• An estimated 1,698,339 people in the U.S. are living with or in remission from leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), or myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).

Their efforts support the impact LLS continues to make—since 2017, LLS has helped advance 70% of FDA-approved blood cancer treatments.

We appreciate their dedication and are proud to support them in this work. Join us in recognizing their commitment. 💜🎗️
